About Tony's Cafe

We named our restaurant "Tony's Café" as a tribute to our grandfather Tony Coppola who passed away shortly before we opened in 2003.

My family moved to America when I was two years old. We were based in New York before moving to Philadelphia and then to Delaware. We have been in the restaurant business for many years and nearly all of our recipes were perfected back in Napoli by Sal, my father.

Whether you chose to dine in our restaurant or take your meal home, our extensive menu includes gourmet pizzas, New York style pizzas, stromboli, salads, subs, sandwiches, steaks, and burgers. Whatever you order, you can be sure that your food will be freshly prepared with an attention to detail you can only expect from an authentic family-run Italian restaurant.

Hosting a birthday party or other important celebration? Choose from our Catering Menu; it has all the salads and appetizers, pastas, and entrees you need to make a success of any party. We will also lend you tray supports and heaters for free.

Next time you visit us have a look at the large trophy we have on display. We are really proud of it; we won it back in Napoli when we were on vacation. We came first in a NATO Food Show and were proclaimed "The Best Pizza Chefs".

Through our good friends at MBNA (now Bank of America) we have been able to help several local charities by providing food and other support during fund raising events. We also provide meals for the local police and emergency service personnel during the holiday season.

My father Sal, and I will do all we can to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible.

We use only the best ingredients (including organic foods whenever possible) and cook all our food fresh each day or to order. For the best Italian food around - Don't Cook - Call Tony's!
